Hackney Empire Theatre
Hackney Music Development Trust children's opera with 150 students from Hackney schools about the Negro League in baseball last century. ‘Shadow Ball’ refers to a common pre-game feature during which Negro League players warmed up by staging mock games with an imaginary ball.
