Fusing themes of ecology, wonder and love, the second annual Dear Future Film Festival 2022 featured a collection of films and special events curated by Clare Whistler and our cinema director, Rebecca E Marshall.
Awe-inspiring events include a live morning of film and performance featuring David Bramwell; a rare chance to see a West Sussex family in the revered The Moon and Sledgehammer; an evening celebrating Dear Bees; the mesmerising All That Breathes and an elegant dystopian thriller, Vesper – with a special mystery guest – !
Co-curator of the festival, Clare Whistler says: “This year there is more of a concentration on climate with two days that centre around water and bees. You’ll experience a quirky selection of films both short and feature length, live talks and performance, and conversations about ways to think of the future as a love letter for the imagination. See films you might never come across!”
